Matt is the Executive Managing Director of Keller Williams Commercial. He began his career in commercial real estate in 2002 as an investment broker at Grubb and Ellis, before continuing his professional growth at Marcus and Millichap, and subsequently at Re/Max Commercial Brokerage. In September 2011, Matt rose to the role of Senior Commercial Director at KW Commercial, where he has ranked annually among the Top 6 Agents Nationally, every year since 2012. A life-long resident of Los Angeles, Matt received his B.A. from the University of Southern California’s Annenberg School of Communication. As a second-generation native Angeleno, Matt brings an enduring passion for the city – its life, history and evolution – to his professional pursuits. His creative vision and drive are steeped in his first-hand knowledge of the colorful stories and diverse neighborhoods that make Los Angeles the amazing city it is today.
Alex Kanner, Matt’s brother, joined The Kanner Group in 2013. He has helped TKG strengthen its presence in the Los Angeles multi-family marketplace, overseeing the sale of $550+ million in transaction volume.
Alex works extensively on business development, client relations, the escrow management process and marketing campaigns. A graduate of the University of Colorado, Alex earned a Communication degree with emphasis on interpersonal communication. This background shines through in Alex’s effective discourse with prospective clients and enduring partnerships with existing clients. Alex enjoys LA’s many beaches, hiking trails, and its world-class culinary scene; playing tennis + basketball; and traveling the world with friends and family.
Jordan Dias joined The Kanner Group in 2015. As a Senior Operations Associate, Jordan exemplifies The Kanner Group’s vision, mission, and values through his unwavering dedication, work ethic, and integrity. He is responsible for managing the operational and administrative aspects of the organization. His role encompasses evaluating multifamily assets through profit and loss analysis, comparing relevant sales and rent comparables, intaking and auditing of due diligence records, managing the escrow process and conscientious oversight of TKG’s financials.
Jordan graduated from Occidental College with a degree in Politics and minor in Economics. He further enhanced his business skills by participating in the Fullbridge Program, a business boot camp led by Harvard MBA alumni, that focused on refining Jordan’s business valuation, research, and financial analysis proficiency. He also completed the Coro Fellowship in Public Affairs, gaining invaluable experience in government operations and commercial real estate.
In his free time, Jordan enjoys exploring local eateries with his wife, walking his dog, and listening to investing podcasts.
Matt McCarty joined The Kanner Group in 2017. Matt’s experience in real estate marketing began at the KW Beverly Hills and KW Los Feliz offices where, as the Marketing Director, he assisted agents in advertising listings and developing personal brands. It was at KW Los Feliz that Matt began to work with The Kanner Group regularly on custom branding and marketing.
A graduate of Emerson College, Matt combines the principles he acquired through his study of visual arts with his experience in the real estate industry to bring strong branding, quality aesthetics and high-caliber visual marketing to every deal.
Additionally, Matt works as a visual artist and freelance editor in the LA film industry, and spends much of his personal time working on his own film, photography, and art projects.
